Breakfast, lunch and Hospital

Altar of worshipKat's parents were out to Malaysia. The entire house was ours now. But the peace in the house and the hot sun were not enough to stop us from exploring the area around the place where we live now. Instead of driving, we walked. Kat was equipped with an umbrella, whilst covering myself with sun block with an spf of 32 was sufficient for me. Nevertheless we were scorched. I could feel my neck burning up. I have a cap and I was already perspiring all over just a few steps out of the house. We sat down in the coffee shop located at the junction of Changi Road and Lor H. It's called Kopi Talk. We lost our appetite after walking in the hot sun but we had coffee and fried carrot cake, and some dim sum too. I felt better and started to sketch.

To cool ourselves down we settled in the nearby Park East Hospital. The ac was heavenly. Kat had another sandwich at Delifrance since she did not eat a lot at the coffee shop earlier on. We shared a tea and some chips, afterwhich we walked home, once again braving the heat.
