Not so much of eating but plenty of chatting and spending good quality time in a cafe we found right across Barnes and Nobles after we couldn't find a place to sit and sketch. Anyway we were at Burbank.

The first sketch made in a cold morning. I enjoyed the cold. This is outside our room. We have a nice little garden where we can hang out with friends.

Before church, we decided to take a stroll to the 99cent shop at Sonora and San Fernando, somewhere about 0.8 miles from where we stay. While Kat shopped, I sketched outside the store.

Church service at the "Oasis Christian Centre" at downtown LA, Korean town. Not a Korean church though but an English speaking, word of faith church. That Sunday, the preaching was so uplifting. it was about not looking to the future but living in the NOW. You can see my sermon notes on the sketchbook page.
