Sprite Animation

Sprite Animation. Sprite Animation Studios creates and produces CGI animation for film, television, video games and commercials. The term sprite refers to small fairies and various spirits or spiritual/mythical beings, including the Japanese yohkai. In computer graphics however, sprite refers to a partially transparent two dimensional animation that is mapped onto a special plane in a three dimensional scene, creating an effective illusion. In many cases, sprite is used to depict phenomena such as fire, smoke, small objects, small plants or special symbols.
