Sketching and painting Changi Village

This was done with Tan Chit Seng and Paul Artsg @ Changi Village in a private jetty. I did the BW line art on location but the weather was proving too hot and humid to paint in comfort... so I painted in the studio recalling the colors and light I saw that afternoon. I think that is also a good practice too. It allows me not to interpret the colors too literally.

But I really envy those artists who could paint on location, like Marvin Chew :D. I lack that patience and the perseverance. Well someday I might do more painting.
