You are cordially invited to join artists from Urban Sketchers (Singapore): Tia, Paul, Don, Miel and Friends in the Opening Night of Tiong Bahru Revisited Exhibition on 1 July 2011, 7pm at White Canvas Gallery.
White Canvas Gallery is proud to host the 2nd instalment of the Tiong Bahru Sketches Exhibition that will run from 1 July - 17 July 2011. Other than works for sale, each of the 4 featured artists has put up one of their favourite works for auction. Interested parties of this silent auction can participate by submitting their bids. The results will be announced on the closing day of the exhibition and the winner will be declared as the highest bidder whose bid is above the reserve price. Proceeds of the auction sales will go toward the Society of the Physically Disabled (SPD) at the Tiong Bahru premise (SPD Ability Centre).
You can also join the artists on 2 Saturdays (2 & 9 July) at 3pm for Sketchwalk, where they can be seen up-close in action sketching areas of the Tiong Bahru neighbourhood. Upon completion, these Sketchworks in Progress will also be offered for sale on Saturday, 16 July.
