Church, Shopping and Sketching

McDonald at Suntec City

Every Sunday we are at Suntec City for church. We would usually attend second service which starts at about 12 pm. We would leave home at about 11am so we could have breakfast or brunch. Kat and myself share different taste preferences for breakfast. She would prefer western whilst I would always go for Chinese. I ate my soft boiled eggs at Qi Ji while Kat would have her burger at McDonald. The above sketch was done with a Lamy fountain pen. Kat filled in the colors for me. What a way to collaborate!

We spent the whole afternoon and evening wandering aimlessly in Bugis Junction. There is nothing much we can do at home (since we are living with Kat's parents for the time being until further notice), while we do not wish to see too much of our parents at the same time, we decided to just while our time away till it is time to go back for bed. While taking a break from all that shopping we had coffee at the food junction. We found a quiet spot that is overlooking the streets below. And I was not going to miss this precious opportunity to record the view in my sketchbook.

By the way more sketches in my Flickr account:
