Nanyang or South East Asian coffee is so staining. I bought about 200g of coffee powder to paint. First I needed to boil some water and then dissolve the powder (about 4-5 teaspoons) in a pot. Then I have to filter out the undissolved coffee powder through a "sock". What was left is true brown coffee solution. With a big brush I started painting on a line art I did in Penang. I added a second layer when the first is dried. Here's the result. I will be adding other colors later.
